Ann Yu, founder of Ourscoliosis, was diagnosed with S-curve scoliosis at 12 and explored treatments like the Schroth Method, hard bracing, and scoliosis Pilates. Her journey led her to launch Ourscoliosis to connect with clinics, support patients, and lead fundraising efforts. Ann is also a nationally certified Pilates Reformer teacher, using movement to empower others with scoliosis.

Paul Lei, a Harvard University graduate, is currently leading strategy at a unicorn fintech startup. He is an alumnus of Goldman Sachs where he covered financial institutions. At Ourscoliosis, Paul oversees fundraising and operations.

Cristina Varela, an NYU graduate with a degree in Biology, is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at Columbia University. She is dedicated to improving health outcomes for marginalized communities by enhancing healthcare accessibility. After being diagnosed with scoliosis, she gained firsthand insight into the challenges and expenses of treatment. Therefore, she is committed to leveraging her background in public health to make high quality scoliosis care and treatment more accessible.

Mark Moran, a graduate of NYU Stern, serves as a global business analyst in a prominent New York firm, specializing in technical development. His expertise lies in software and website development, where he excels in enhancing user interfaces and streamlining functionality. Marcus focuses on raising awareness about scoliosis treatments through innovative online initiatives and digital campaigns.
